Build the systems we sell.
We design, engineer, and deliver made-to-spec building products for hospitality and multifamily construction — and we do it on a 12-week promise most of the industry can't touch. That takes designers, project managers, estimators, sourcing people and closers who all sit close enough to argue about a hinge. If that sounds good, we want to talk.

Why this role exists
Hospitality and multifamily construction doesn't run on cold pitches and canned decks. It runs on trust — a GC or ownership group betting their project timeline, renovation or ground-up build, on whether you'll actually deliver what you promised. We built our name on a 12-week lead time most of the industry can't touch. This role is the person who walks into that conversation, makes the promise real, and walks out with a signed job.
This isn't a script, a quota, and a phone. It's a seat for someone building a career, not just chasing a number — with a runway built for that: start close to the deals, take on your own accounts as fast as you can handle them.
There's no single mold for this seat. We've got room for the person who kicks a door open where nobody's ever sold before, the one who lives to close and won't let a deal die on the vine, and the one who out-plans everyone else in the room before it even starts. If you see yourself in any of those, keep reading.
What you'll do
Early in the seat
- Sit inside real deals — building quotes, proposals, and presentations alongside senior Specialists, not off in a corner
- Own the CRM discipline that makes the whole sales operation run clean
- Handle client questions with real answers, not a script; know when to bring in backup
- Chase orders through to delivery — a happy client, not a closed ticket, is the finish line
As you take on the full Specialist role
- Go find business that doesn't exist yet — new relationships across hospitality, multifamily, and commercial construction
- Run accounts start to finish: first call to final delivery, no handoffs
- Work long, technical, consultative sales cycles with owners, developers, architects, and GCs who don't respond to pressure — only to competence
- Partner directly with estimating, project management, and operations to keep every number you quote true
- Get heard — leadership is in these deals with you, and your read on the market shapes where we go next
What you bring
- A closer's instinct: you don't wait for the deal, you go make it happen
- The nerve to sit across from a GC or ownership group and hold your own
- Organization sharp enough to run several live, complex deals without losing the thread on any of them
- Real curiosity about the product — you'll be talking fixtures, materials, and lead times like a pro, whether you get there on day one or day ninety
- Sales, hospitality, or client-facing background helps — but we've hired great people with none of it
- No specific degree required. We hire for drive, not pedigree
- Salesforce experience a plus
Compensation & benefits
Compensation commensurate with experience, base + commission. Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO and holidays, professional development support.
Why Source Direct
We design, engineer, and deliver made-to-spec building products — bath packages, architectural millwork, doors and hardware, glass shower enclosures, vanities, and railings — for hospitality and multifamily construction, on renovations and ground-up builds alike. Our clients work with brands like Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, and IHG. We manage the full lifecycle ourselves: design, manufacturing, logistics, and on-site delivery, backed by a 12-week promise most of the industry can't touch. We don't stay in one lane — we're constantly expanding into new product categories, and the next one might be the one you help build.
We're growing fast, and this seat is one of the reasons why — the person in it helps write our next chapter.

Apply for this role →Source Direct hires for drive, not pedigree. Nontraditional background, self-taught, coming from a totally different industry — if you can do the work, we want to hear from you.
Why this role exists
A construction project doesn't pause for anyone — renovation or ground-up build. Design changes mid-stream, an overseas factory runs on its own clock, freight hits a delay nobody saw coming — and the GC still expects the shower enclosures on-site the week we promised. Someone has to hold that entire picture in their head at once, keep it moving, and make it look calm from the outside. That's this seat.
We're not looking for someone who manages a project. We're looking for someone who owns one — the kind of person a GC stops double-checking after the second job, because they've learned you don't need it.
What you'll do
- Own custom manufacturing projects end to end — design through on-site delivery, with timeline, budget, and quality all riding on you
- Sit inside the engineering process, pressure-testing designs before they ever hit production
- Turn client feedback and brand standards into direction the engineering team can actually build from — no translation lost
- Be the person a GC or ownership group calls first, and the only person they need to call
- Run submittals and approvals without letting them stall a job
- Keep production schedules with our overseas manufacturing partners locked to the delivery window — not close, locked
- Own customs, freight, and logistics so delivery lands on time, every time, no excuses
- Catch risk early enough that the client never feels it
- Report the real picture to leadership — milestones, budget, and problems, before they're asked
What you bring
- Project management chops — construction, architectural products, custom manufacturing, or hospitality construction backgrounds (renovation or new build) are a strong fit
- The ability to read a technical design and explain it in plain English to someone who's never seen a shop drawing
- Experience running submittals or approvals with GCs or ownership groups is a real advantage
- Overseas vendor management or import logistics experience is a bonus, not a bar to entry
- The range to run several live, complicated projects without dropping one
- A degree in business or construction management helps; PMP is a plus — but we'll take someone who's proven they can run a job over someone with a certificate and no scars
- Comfortable with project tools like Asana, Monday.com, MS Project, or Salesforce

Why this role exists
Great products don't win bids by themselves. Competitive pricing wins bids — and pricing is only as sharp as the vendor relationships behind it. This role owns both halves: the daily discipline of purchase orders, supplier records, and material flow that never misses, and the bigger job of knowing exactly where every vendor stands on cost, quality, and capacity before it ever becomes a problem.
This seat exists because we've lost bids we shouldn't have — priced out by competitors running the same vendors we are, just with fresher numbers. That doesn't happen again on your watch.
What you'll do
Day-to-day sourcing operations
- Keep transaction, pricing, and inventory records clean enough that nobody has to double-check them
- Kill vendor and supplier disputes before they turn into project delays
Strategic vendor management
- Vet suppliers on quality and capacity, not just the number on the quote
- Track vendor performance — price, quality, delivery — and flag risk before it lands on a live job
- Drive factory qualification and cost re-benchmarking so our pricing never goes stale again
- Flag any vendor substitution to the assigned PM with the lead-time and quality tradeoff, in writing, before the job is committed
What you bring
- Purchasing, procurement, or sourcing experience — construction industry background is a strong plus, not a requirement
- A sharp eye for detail and the discipline to manage a dozen vendor relationships without losing track of one
- Comfort with procurement software and Microsoft Office
- The independence to take direction and run with it, fast, under pressure
- Mandarin or other relevant language skills are a bonus given our overseas manufacturing partnerships — never a requirement
- Highly organized, unshaken by a deadline

This role sits close to the center of how we win: every quote we send and every project we deliver depends on the vendor relationships this person keeps sharp. We're growing fast — and we intend to do it without ever losing a bid we should have won.

Why this role exists
We're constantly expanding into product categories that didn't exist here two years ago — and we're just getting started. That takes someone who does both halves of the job: designs products that meet spec and survive real installation conditions, then gets on-site to prove it. Not a designer who hands off a drawing and disappears. Someone who owns the product from first sketch to final install.
What you'll do
Product design
- Design and develop new products across our growing platform — from bath and glass systems to entire categories we haven't launched yet
- Pressure-test drawings, specs, and installation requirements so what you design is manufacturable and field-ready from day one
- Work with manufacturing and engineering to improve performance and producibility before anything ships
- Drive product testing, validation, and documentation
Field application & troubleshooting
- Get on-site (~15% travel) to support installers and confirm your product performs exactly as designed
- Diagnose and fix installation or performance problems in the field — not just on paper after the fact
- Be the technical point of contact for contractors, installers, and distribution partners
- Feed what you learn on-site straight back into the next design — this is a loop, not a handoff
What you bring
- Background in industrial design, mechanical engineering, or a related field — a degree helps, but a strong portfolio or hands-on track record carries just as much weight
- Real installation or field experience in construction or building products
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort reading technical drawings
- CAD proficiency (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) is a plus
- Comfort moving between a design review and a job-site conversation in the same week
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel roughly 15%

Why Source Direct
We design, engineer, and deliver made-to-spec building products for hospitality and multifamily construction — and we're actively pushing into product categories most competitors in this space haven't even started thinking about. This role sits right at the center of that expansion: the person who makes sure what we design in the office actually works on a job site three states away.
We're growing fast, and this seat is one of the ones that decides what "Source Direct product" means for the next five years.

Why this role exists
Every project we win starts with a number someone had to get right — under pressure, on a deadline, with a client watching. This role owns that number. You read the drawings, know the materials cold, and build a cost estimate tight enough to win the bid and honest enough to protect the margin once the job is underway.
What you'll do
- Read drawings, specs, and proposals to build cost estimates that hold up
- Sit with project managers, engineers, and clients until the scope is nailed down, not guessed at
- Maintain detailed estimates for labor, materials, and production timelines
- Find the value-engineering opportunities before anyone asks for them
- Manage bid proposals and stay on clients through the decision, not just the submission
- Keep every estimate matched to company standards and client expectations, no exceptions
What you bring
- Estimating experience in manufacturing, construction, or a related field
- Real command of materials, labor costs, and production processes
- Comfort reading technical drawings and specs without hand-holding
- Strong analytical, math, and communication skills
- The ability to run multiple deadlines at once without missing one
- Hospitality industry experience is a plus — not a requirement
- A degree is preferred, but 3+ years of relevant experience carries the same weight
